Organization Profile: Salvation Army

Have you ever been worried about money? Worried about what tomorrow holds, or what else might go wrong? The last few years have been difficult for so many families, who have turned to The Salvation Army for help when all else fails. How We Serve When a family in a financial crisis reaches out for help, we meet with them to identify the root causes of their situation before offering assistance. We work with each family to identify areas of concern to properly address their needs, including: Budgeting/spending habits Employment Referrals to other resources Household Management For families in need of drastic change in their life, we refer them to Pathway of Hope which is a 6-12 month program to help them break out of the cycles and habits that have held them back from achieving self-sufficiency. This is ONLY possible with local donations and support! We need YOUR help! In order to provide this support system for those in crisis, we are taking part in Walking for Dreams 2023. Walking for Dream is a charity walk and fundraiser to help non-profits raise money for their vital services MATCHING donations are being given to charities that are able to reach MATCH MILESTONES. We are asking local businesses to consider contributing towards the walk to help us reach the next MATCH MILESTONE and "unlock" these matching gifts.
